Senta Goertler
Senta Goertler, Ph.D. (University of Arizona) is an Associate Professor of Second Language Studies and German. She currently serves as the Director of Basic Languages in the German Program, where she oversees first- and second-year language instruction and the Graduate Teaching Assistants.

Senta Goertler is a Professor of Second Language Studies and German in the Department of Linguistics, Languages, and Cultures (LiLaC). Currently, Dr. Goertler is serving on two MSU Strategic Plan 2030 committees: the General Education Reform
as well as the Spartan Global Learning Initiative.

Seven Mattes, received her PhD in Cultural Anthropology from Michigan State University in 2018, specializing in human-animal relationships and Japan Studies. Her applied research is aimed at improving disaster preparedness and resiliency for animals by incorporating a multispecies perspective.

Sieglinde Snapp is a Professor of Soils and Cropping Systems Ecology in the Department of Plant, Soil and Microbial Sciences and Associate Director of the Center for Global Change and Earth Observations at Michigan State University.
