Lyudmila Sakhanenko is a professor in the Department of Statistics and Probability. Her area of expertise includes nonparametric statistics, high-dimensional probability, and empirical processes. She applies her methodology work to neuroscience.
Dr. Chen is an MSU Foundation Professor at the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics of Michigan State University. Dr. Chen works with large population-based prospective studies to understand the etiology and natural history of neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s with the ultimate goal of disease prevention and healthy aging.
