Assistant Professor Robert Malinowski works in the College of Human Medicine’s Office of Medical Education, Research and Development (OMERAD). He is the Associate Director of Assessment and a member of the Just in Time Medicine curriculum development team. Robert earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2001, Master of Arts in Digital Media Art and Technology (DMAT) in 2003 and PhD in Educational Psychology and Educational Technology (EPET) in 2012, all from Michigan State University. His primary interest is medical education and how technology can be leveraged for assessment and curriculum design/delivery. He is particularly interested in competence committees and how they can be effectively utilized to support competency-based medical education curricula. In his free time, Robert enjoyed spending time with his wife and two daughters, traveling and working in the garden.
